Pre-Purchase Surveys

This is the most comprehensive type of survey and is highly recommended for anyone considering the purchase of a vessel, regardless of its age, brand reputation, or preconceived condition. It employs non-destructive testing methods and visual inspections of all accessible areas to assess the vessel’s overall condition. Key aspects covered include structural integrity, electrical systems, propulsion and fuel systems, air conditioning, navigation equipment, electronics, safety equipment, and other onboard systems.

The survey will include a detailed report outlining all systems, identifying any potential issues as well as highlighting the vessels strengths, helping buyers make informed decisions. The vessel's fair market value will also be calculated and included in the report.

To ensure a complete understanding of the vessels condition, a proper pre-purchase survey will involve both in-water and out-of-water inspections, along with a limited trial run.

NOTE: It is the responsibility of the party requesting the survey to arrange for a haulout and captain for the limited trial run

All inspections are performed referencing current United States Coast Guard regulations and the
