This inspection is conducted to collect the necessary information to determine and justify the fair market value of the vessel. It is commonly required for purposes such as financing, estate settlements, donations, and legal matters. Please note that appraisal surveys should not be confused with more comprehensive types of surveys like pre-purchase or insurance surveys.
