Understanding Your Survey Report
The detailed report will be delivered via email in PDF format within five (5) business days after the survey. The report will offer a comprehensive assessment of the vessel based on current regulations, standards, and best marine practices.
Each section of the report will cover the condition, appearance, and functionality of the vessel's systems, structure, and components.
The report will also include a findings and recommendations section, highlighting any deficiencies with supporting photographs. Additionally, the vessel's fair market value will be calculated and included in the report.

Deficiencies will be classified into three categories:
-
Category A: "FIRST PRIORITY/SAFETY FINDINGS" — These findings could represent potential endangerments to personnel or the safety of the vessel's operation. They may also indicate violations of federal regulations.
-
Category B: "SECONDARY PRIORITY/FINDINGS NEEDING TIMELY ATTENTION" — These items should be addressed in a timely manner to ensure the vessel remains in compliance with regulations and standards while also helping to preserve its value and ensure the safe operation of the vessel.
-
Category C: "SURVEYOR'S GENERAL FINDINGS, NOTES, AND OBSERVATIONS" — These are lower-priority findings or cosmetic deficiencies that should be addressed in keeping with good marine maintenance practices.
